It is said in the statement of non-profit organization on environment protection. "ClientEarth has filed a complaint to the Supreme administrative court of Sweden to stop construction of the 510-kilometer section of the pipeline ''Nord Stream-2'' in the Swedish territorial waters" — the organization has reported. Ecologists note that, according to lawyers, construction documentation of the project is incomplete and inexact as it doesn't consider possible influence of the gas pipeline on the wild nature in the Baltic Sea. "Construction of the gas pipeline will cause blasting shells of times of World War II which are on a seabed now. Underwater explosions can do serious harm to the protected marine mammals" — ecologists claim. ClientEarth — the non-profit organization on environment protection founded in 2008. The head office is in London. Earlier Federal constitutional court of Germany has rejected the complaint to "Nord Stream-2" from the German ecologists. The German ecological association (NABU) tried to break through court the beginning of works on construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline planned for May 15 on the site in the Bay of Greifswald. "Nord Stream-2" — the gas pipeline from Russia to Germany through the Baltic Sea 1220 km long and 55 billion cubic meters in a year. Laying of pipes for "Nord Stream — 2" in the Baltic Sea has begun in July, 2018. It is expected that construction of the gas pipeline will come to the end at the end of 2019. Earlier journalists of Sverige Radio radio station have conducted survey and have come to a conclusion that representatives of all Swedish parliamentary parties oppose construction of the Nord Stream — 2 gas pipeline which has to pass on a bottom of the Baltic Sea. Later the ambassador of Sweden in Russia Peter Eriksson has said in an interview of RIA Novosti that Sweden can't stop implementation of the Nord Stream-2 project as the country has already given all necessary permissions.
