FAS has dismissed the case against AvtoVAZ on coordination of the prices of servicing — Rambler News Service


The FAS Russia's Commission has made the decision on the termination of consideration of the case on violation of the antitrust law on the AvtoVAZ company on signs of violation of the law on protection of the competition, has reported the regulator. "The FAS Russia's Commission has made the decision on the termination of consideration of the case on violation of the antitrust law on "AvtoVAZ" on signs of violation of part 5 of article 11 of the Law on protection of the competition" — it is said in the statement. It is noted that the analysis of data on the cost of services in maintenance of cars has shown that most of authorized dealers rendered services in the prices other than the regulated prices established by AvtoVAZ. The commission has decided to stop consideration of the case in "communication with lack of violation of the antitrust law". Earlier the service several times transferred consideration of the case concerning the AvtoVAZ company on coordination of the prices of official dealers of Lada of maintenance of the Penalty cars for AvtoVAZ in case of coordination of work of dealers regarding carrying out maintenance of the Lada cars could make up to 5 million rubles, reported before RNS in service. FAS Russia I requested information from more than a half of dealers of AvtoVAZ earlier. The automobile works through the dealer portal instructed heads of the enterprises of dealer network to establish the prices of maintenance according to the calculations of cost of servicing recommended by the company. in 2016 FAS considered similar case against the Ford Sollers company. Following the results of this case the decision on existence in operations of Ford Sollers of violation of the antitrust law has been made, the company has paid a penalty of 2,5 million rubles. The court has confirmed legality and validity of the FAS Russia's decision.
