Gazprom has granted a loan of 125 billion rubles of Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar subsidiary for financing of the South Stream Transport B.V company., which is an operator of construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. It is said in materials of Gazprom. "The lessor provides to the borrower a sum of money of no more than 125 billion rubles <...> The parties and beneficiaries according to the transaction: PJSC Gazprom (lessor), LLC Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar (borrower). <...> The parties and beneficiaries according to the transaction: LLC Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar (lessor), South Stream Transport B.V. (borrower)" — it is said in materials. As explains Gazprom, the provided money is used by the borrower for replenishment of current assets. The transaction has been made on September 26. Percent on the contract are charged by the lessor monthly of 5,59% per annum from the sum of debt on a principal debt. The borrower undertakes to return the loan sum no later than December 30, 2023. "The Turkish stream" — the project of the beztranzitny export gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey through the Black Sea and further to border of Turkey with the adjacent countries. The first gas pipeline will be intended for the Turkish market, the second — for gas supply of the countries of Southern and Southeast Europe. Power of each thread — 15,75 billion cubic meters of gas a year. On October 10, 2016 Russia and Turkey have signed the intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream project. The South Stream Transport B company is engaged in construction of the offshore section of the gas pipeline. V. (100 percent subsidiary of Gazprom). On December 8, 2016 the South Stream Transport company has signed the contract with the Swiss company Allseas Group for construction of the first string of the offshore section of the gas pipeline, the contract for laying of the second gas pipeline has been signed on February 20, 2017.
