Photo: Pixabay Investigating authorities have begun to stop the criminal cases under article about extremism connected with publications and reposts on social networks, the head of the international human rights Agora group Pavel Chikov in the Telegram-channel has reported. "At our lawyers the first terminations of criminal cases according to Art. 282 of UK, and have gone for insignificance" — Chikov has reported. In the copy of the resolution on one of affairs it is told that the investigation stops trial concerning the resident of Krasnoyarsk Krai due to the lack of corpus delicti, and business is "insignificant". "The last had 166 friends, however none of audience on the images placed by him have given mark "to me it is pleasant", that is the specified images haven't caused any reaction and haven't exerted impact on behavior of the persons making this audience" — it is said in the resolution. Also in the resolution it is told that the user has placed 4 thousand more images which don't contain signs of arousing hatred or hostility. The investigation has no information on participation of the convict in the extremist organizations. "Now the above-stated page is removed, any public and dangerous consequences hasn't come" — the investigator in the resolution has noted. Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has introduced the bill of partial decriminalization of article about extremism in the State Duma. The bill offers to bring to trial for extremism offense only if the citizen has been brought to administrative responsibility for similar act within one year. In the summer of Mail.ru Group has suggested to decriminalize criminal liability for reposts and to amnesty earlier condemned for likes and reposts on social networks.
