MEA has raised the forecast for oil production in Russia in 2018 to 11,49 million barrels a day — Rambler News Service


The International Energy Agency (IEA) has raised the forecast for oil production in Russia in 2018 on 10 thousand barrels a day in comparison with the previous forecast — to 11,49 million barrels a day, it is told in the monthly review of the agency. According to data of MEA, in 2017 oil production in Russia has made 11,36 million barrels a day. Proceeding from these data, oil production in Russia in 2018 can grow by 130 thousand barrels a day, or for 1,1%. In the previous review of MEA predicted growth of oil production in Russia in 2018 to 11,48 million barrels a day. In 2016 oil production in Russia has made 11,34 million barrels a day. At the same time MEA predicts growth of oil production in Russia in 2019 to 11,71 million barrels a day. In the previous report the organization expected growth of oil production in Russia in 2019 to 11,69 million barrels a day. Thus, the forecast is corrected on 20 thousand barrels towards increase. Oil production in Russia in 2019 can grow by 220 thousand barrels a day, or for 1,9%.
