Photo: Pixabay the International Energy Agency (IEA) lowered the forecast for growth of global demand for oil in 2018 to 1,3 million barrels a day. It is said in the monthly report of the agency. In the previous report the agency predicted increase in demand in 2018 at the level of 1,4 million barrels a day. Thus, the forecast is corrected on 100 thousand barrels a day towards decrease. The organization expects demand for oil in 2018 at the level of 99,2 million barrels a day. At the same time MEA raised the forecast of demand for oil in the IV quarter 2018 to 100,2 million barrels a day. In the previous report assessment made 100,3 million barrels a day. Following the results of 2017 MEA estimated growth of global demand for oil at 1,5 million barrels a day. According to data of MEA, demand for oil in the world in 2017 was 97,9 million barrels a day. In 2016 demand for oil in the world was 96,4 million barrels a day. At the same time the agency lowered the forecast of growth of global demand for oil in 2019 to 1,3 million barrels a day. MEA expects that demand for oil in 2019 will be 100,5 million barrels a day. In the previous report of MEA predicted increase in demand for oil in 2019 at the level of 1,5 million barrels a day.
