Photo: Artyom MegaFon has attracted with Korotayev/TASS 21 billion rubles within the existing credit agreement with Alfa-Bank, the company has reported. "PJSC MegaFon declares that it has received on August 14 a tranche for the sum of 21 billion rubles within the existing credit agreement for the total amount of 25 billion rubles with JSC Alfa-Bank" — it is said in the statement. It is specified that the credit under the fixed interest rate is obtained for three years. MegaFon plans to allocate the received funds for financing of the program of acquisition of the issued and placed common stocks and the GDR of the company. Earlier the board of directors of MegaFon has approved delisting of the GDR from the London Stock Exchange and has made the decision to approve the program of stock acquisition and the GDR of the company its affiliated structure of Megafon Investments Cyprus Limited. Delisting from the London exchange is planned to be carried out after the program of acquisition of the placed common stocks and the GDR of the company within which it is planned to acquire 20,8% of all issued and placed shares.
