"We have directed by mail (the appeal to the judgment - RNS), expired term yesterday (submissions of the complaint - RNS), but as there was a holiday, today we have duplicated" — Evgenia Albats has reported. According to her, the magazine plans to pay attention to arguments unconsidered earlier in court. "There is the relevant resolution of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation which concerns a limitation period, qualification of offense and so on" — she has noted. At the end of October Tverskoy district court of Moscow has decided to collect a penalty of 22,25 million rubles from the magazine and also 30 thousand rubles personally with Albats as from his editor-in-chief. The magazine has been recognized violated article 13.15.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences — "failure to provide or untimely granting mass media by the editorial office, the speaker or publisher of information on receiving money which is provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation on mass media". Violation under this article attracts imposing of an administrative penalty on officials at the rate from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles; on legal entities — from single to the double sum of money which are received by the editorial office of mass media, the speaker or the publisher, and information on which receiving has to provide.
