The minister also asked the president to dismiss two generals in connection with the event. On June 13 Vladimir Putin signed the decree on release from positions of the head of department on control of drug trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow police major general Yury Devyatkin and the head of department of internal affairs on CJSC Ministry of Internal Affairs RF on Moscow police major general Andrey Puchkov. Besides, the Investigative Committee was engaged in carrying out circumstances of detention of the journalist.
