Photo: globallookpress.com/Leonid Faerberg Rosaviatsia has requested 166 billion rubles on reconstruction of the airports till 2025 within a comprehensive plan of modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure of Russia till 2025. "The necessary amount of financing of the federal budget on the purpose of reconstruction of the airports for the period from 2019 to 2024 inclusive is 166 billion rubles, of them on reconstruction of the airports which are in the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District, 86,7 billion rubles", - it is said in the statement of Rosaviatsia. The structure of a comprehensive plan has included reconstruction of 65 airports, including 38 airports located in the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District. Rosaviatsia specifies that from 1991 to 2004 in the federal budget "there were practically" no means necessary for restoration and development of airfield network. Modernization of airfield network started since 2004. During 2004-2018 the new airports Iturup, Sabetta, Rostov-on-Don, Talakan have been constructed. Construction of the new airport Saratov (Gagarin) comes to the end, reconstruction of runways, networks of rulezhny paths, platforms at 75 airports is carried out. Besides, in a number of the airports (Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Petrozavodsk, etc.) large-scale reconstruction of rulezhny paths and platforms is carried out, large-scale reconstruction and construction of airfield complexes at Domodedovo Airport and Sheremetyevo comes to the end, it is specified in the message. Also new air terminal complexes at the airports Volgograd, Vladivostok, Saransk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Barnaul, Kemerovo have been built. Krasnoyarsk, Yakutsk, Tyumen, Anapa, Blagoveshchensk, Anadyr, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, St. Petersburg, Mineralnye Vody, Kaliningrad, Ufa, Perm, Kazan, Simferopol, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Zhukovsky. Construction of air terminal complexes in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Khabarovsk is begun and continues. Now on account there are 2057 airfields, in the state register of civil airfields and helicopter aerodromes of Russia there are 228 airfields and 5 helicopter aerodromes.
