Rosaviatsia has declared lack of the ban on flights of Fly One to Russia — Rambler News Service

There is no ban on flights of the Moldavian Fly One low-coster to Russia, the adviser to the head of Rosaviatsia Sergey Izvolsky has told RNS. Earlier about problems with performance of flights to Russia because of "wet" leasing, that is lease of planes with crew at other carriers, I have reported a low-coster. "We don't confirm flights to Russia only to aircrafts which aren't in the air operator certificate of airline, that is taken in "wet" leasing. Everything that in the certificate — flies therefore there is no ban on flights of airline" — he has noted. Izvolsky has also explained that each airline before performing any flight, regardless of that, regular he or charter, gives so-called flight plan. "It is flight plan which contains information on flight, including the type of the aircraft and its registration onboard sign is specified" — he has noted, having added that the Fly One airline tries to carry out flights to Russia by those planes which she has in the air operator certificate. Intergovernmental agreements on flights in the Russian Federation now actually exclude use of the scheme of "wet" leasing. Why the airline has been earlier given such permission it was still unknown. Ministry of Transport hasn't commented on a question yet. "Wet leasing" (wet leasing) – lease of planes together with crew assumes obligatory maintenance of aircrafts at the expense of the lessor. According to the website of airline, the vessel fleet of Fly One consists of two Airbus 320 planes and one Airbus 319. The Fly One airline has begun transportations in April, 2016. The first flight to Moscow is performed in June, 2016. Later the low-coster began to fly also to other Russian cities, among them: St. Petersburg and Voronezh.
