"Yesterday we wrote out a penalty of Google for not connection to the federal state information system containing a list of the forbidden websites. We will continue to remind the companies of failure to follow the Russian legislation. However, if the company also refuses further connection to a system, the state can make changes to the legislation which can lead to blocking of work of the foreign companies in the territory of the country including to Google" — Subbotin reported. He specified that Google needs to filter the websites containing a child pornography, extremist messages, information on suicides and drugs. Because of non-execution of requirements of Roskomnadzor the regulator fined Google 500 thousand rubles, the head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov told journalists. At the end of November Roskomnadzor initiated an administrative case against Google. The regulator then made the protocol on administrative offense concerning Google because the company in the necessary time was not connected to the state information system with the list of the resources blocked in Russia.
