Roskosmos will correct construction shortcomings at the East spaceport in a month — Rambler News Service


Specialists of Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsENKI (enters into Roskosmos state corporation) have revealed availability of low-quality concrete under a part of a covering of a launching table at the East spaceport and plan to eliminate defects till October 5, has reported the enterprise. "Construction marriage has no critical character and will be eliminated with own forces of Roskosmos state corporation till October 5 of the current year", - it is said in the statement. According to federal state unitary enterprise, low-quality filling of concrete has been allowed by the former contractor – Federal Agency for Special Construction of the Russian Federation. "Besides, along with this remark, Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsENKI has some more claims to the former contractor", - have specified at the enterprise. Following the results of shortcomings at the Vostochny spaceport Roskosmos will strengthen control at construction of a starting complex for Angara and will involve specialists of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation. "Also forces of state corporation and specialists of branch will carry out parallel inspections and control of objects of the spaceport to exclude any emergency situation", - have specified at the enterprise. Earlier it was reported that Roskosmos has placed the application on the portal of state procurements according to which 4,6 million rubles will be spent for elimination of emptiness in soil under a starting complex of the carrier rocket "Union-2" at the East spaceport. The East spaceport — the first civil spaceport of Russia, it is under construction in 180 km from Blagoveshchensk. The first start-up of the carrier rocket "Union-2.1a" from the spaceport has taken place in April, 2016. The area of the spaceport is about 700 square kilometers.
