Rosprirodnadzor hasn't revealed ecological damage as a result of flooding of floating dock of PD-50 at the 82nd ship-repair plant in Murmansk, it is said in the statement of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation. "Inspectors of the Baltic and Arctic sea management of Rosprirodnadzor work at the place of accident of floating dock of PD-50 in Murmansk. According to preliminary data, ecological damage of safety of Murmansk region it isn't caused" — it is said in the statement. As notes the ministry, sampling will be made in the nearest future, the analysis on the maintenance of threshold limit values of pollutants on the place of state of emergency is carried out. Now at the place of accident inspectors of the state ecological supervision work at the sea across Murmansk region of the Baltic and Arctic sea management of Rosprirodnadzor. All information comes for control to central office of Rosprirodnadzor of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation. State of emergency has come on the night of October 30, 2018 at an exit of the cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov" which is on repair from dock. According to the center of ship repair "Asterisk", sudden power outage became the reason. It was initially reported that immersion was partial, it became known later that PD-50 has left under water completely. Because of falling of the crane the case and the deck of "Admiral Kuznetsov" have sustained damage. The Northwest Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee called a preliminary cause of accident violation of the rules of technical operation of ship-raising constructions. Investigators have also brought criminal case about violation of safety rules at the conducting works which has entailed the death of the person. The floating dock of PD-50 has been constructed in 1980, works were custom-made in Sweden of the Soviet Navy. It is one of the largest floating docks in the world. Its length is 330 meters, and width - 67 meters. PD-50 has the loading capacity of 80 thousand tons.
