Search engines since the beginning of year have stopped access to 2,6 thousand to piracy Internet resources — Rambler News Service


Since the beginning of 2018 search engines of Russia — Yandex, Mail.ru, Rambler, "Satellite" and Google have stopped access to 2,6 thousand to piracy Internet resources which have been blocked on a constant basis, Roskomnadzor reports. Department has reminded that decisions on restriction of access to piracy Internet resources are made in the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and Moscow City Court. Since October 1, 2017 the law "About Information Security" there was a norm which obliges searchers to stop issue of references to the piracy websites which are blocked on a constant basis. "Since the beginning of action of this norm data about about 3,87 thousand the websites with pirated content are excluded from search engines" — it is said in the statement of Roskomnadzor.
