Photo: www.globallookpress.com/Rene Traut/Hotspot-Foto Shareholders of Tesla have submitted a collective claim to federal court in San Francisco to the founder and the CEO of firm Elon Musk, Bloomberg reports. Claimants have said that on August 7 Musk "tweets" about transformation of Tesla into the private company has caused sharp rate fluctuations of actions and has violated the law on securities, writes the agency. Shareholders have also explained that Musk's statements for readiness to finance a conclusion of the company from the exchange were doubtful and have caused jumps in prices because of which shareholders have suffered losses. "As Musk hasn't provided financing and has given the market the false and misleading information, sellers of stocks of Tesla have been forced to cover the positions, having taken shares at artificially inflated prices" — the shareholder Kalman Isaacs has explained. On August 7 Elon Musk has said that he thinks of redeeming shares of the company and to remove it from the exchange. In this regard the value of the stock of Musk has grown almost by 5%.
