The arbitration court of Moscow has collected a penalty from Federal Passenger Company (FPC) in favor of "Russian Author's Society" (RAS) of 1,1 million rubles for copyright infringement at broadcast of songs in cars of trains, follows from the decision of arbitration court. "To collect from JSC Federal Passenger Company in favor of Russian Author's Society for the subsequent payment to authors (owners) of compensation for violation of the exclusive right to the work of 1 million 140 thousand rubles and also expenses on payment of the state tax of 24,4 thousand rubles", - it is said in the judgment. The court has established that during the period from March 28, 2017 to April 27, 2017 in couchette cars of trains conductors violated copyright, broadcasting the songs entering the repertoire of Russian joint stock company. Among works there were Lady Gaga songs, Yury Shatunov, the Animals group, Philip Kirkorov and other performers. All FPK illegally I broadcast 53 songs. It was found by the representative of author's society who has appealed to court subsequently. Federal Passenger Company - Russian Railway subsidiary which provides services in transportation of people in trains of the Russian Railway, but in the cars with other conditions and the equipment. Earlier it was reported that at the end of July, 2018 FPK has opened plans for introduction of three types of trains: the day express (time in way till 6 o'clock and distance up to 600 km), the night train (till 12 o'clock, 1200-1500 km) and the traditional train (more than 12 hours in way). FPK also suggested to divide all types of trains into three classes of service: house-keeper, comfort and business. At the same time, the company suggested to allocate old cars without conditioners and dry closets in a separate class of service the economy budget before their full leaving from the park.
