Photo: Pyotr of Kovalyov/TASS the English court has repealed the warrant of arrest of assets of Gazprom in the territory of England and Wales within execution of the decision of the Stockholm arbitration on a dispute between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine, it is said in the statement of the Russian gas holding. "Today the English court has repealed the order of June 18, 2018 on arrest of assets of Gazprom in the territory of England and Wales", - it is said in the statement. As the company explains, obligation assumed by Gazprom not to alienate the stock of Nord Stream AG before the end of hearings in the English court on the case of recognition and carrying out of the decision of the Stockholm arbitration on the case of transit of February 28, 2018 became a condition of cancellation of the order. Trial dates are previously set for February, 2019. On February 28, 2018 the Stockholm arbitration has made the final decision on a dispute between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine within the contract for transit of gas through the territory of Ukraine. Due to the essential procedural violations allowed by arbitrators, Gazprom has appealed on March 29, 2018 to Court of Appeal of the district Svea with the statement for contest of the final decision of February 28, 2018 and its partial cancellation. On May 28, 2018 Gazprom has filed a lawsuit the statement for full cancellation of the arbitral award. The warrant of arrest of assets of Gazprom in the territory of England and Wales has been adopted by the High Court of England and Wales on June 18, 2018 at the request of Naftogaz of Ukraine in connection with compulsory execution of the decision of the Stockholm arbitration on a dispute on transit of gas of February 28, 2018.
