Photo: Pixabay the European Commission approved allocation to Ukraine of €500 million as the first tranche within the new program of macrofinancial aid. It is reported on the regulator website. "Taking into account this sum the total amount of macrofinancial aid to Ukraine from the EU since 2014 will reach €3.3 billion. It is the largest volume of means which was ever allocated to the country which is not entering the EU" — it is noted in the message. The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the Facebook thanked European Commission for the allocated funds and called it an important signal of support from the EU. Earlier Poroshenko signed the decree on ratification of the credit agreement on receiving by Kiev macrofinancial aid of the European Union in the sum to €1 billion. Conditions of receiving each of two trenches of macrofinancial aid of the EU for the sum up to €500 million, in particular, is performance of a number of the actions for realization of tax and customs policy, fight against corruption coordinated by the parties and also carrying out further reforms in spheres of power, health care and social protection. In 2014 and 2015 Ukraine within the first and second package of MFP received €1.6 billion from the European Union. In April, 2015, the UNIAN notes, allocated to Kiev €1.8 billion more, however the country did not receive €600 million as it satisfied not all necessary conditions.
