The French Total has increased a share in the share capital of Novatek to 19,4%, it is told in materials of the French company. "Total owns 19,4% of Novatek as of September 18" — it is said in materials. Earlier the company owned 18,9% of stocks of the largest Russian independent producer of gas. When the company has bought in addition stocks of Novatek, in materials it isn't specified. Earlier Total stated that it expects to increase the share in Novatek to 19,4%. In 2015 Total has acquired 0,7% of shares of Novatek, having increased a share in the share capital of the Russian company to 18,9%.
