The government allocated nearly 10 billion rubles to the leading higher education institutions of Russia — Rambler News Service


Photo: Sergey of Five-copeck coins/RIA Novosti the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the order about distribution of subsidies of 9.9 billion rubles to leading universities of the country for increase in their international competitiveness, the press service of the government reported. Subsidies within the federal draft "Young Professionals" of the Education national project will be received by 21 Russian higher education institutions. The government noted that funds for these purposes were provided in the federal budget for the current year. Distribution of subsidies speaks provided in the national project inclusion of Russia to number of 10 leading countries on quality of the general education. Grants will distribute between three groups of the universities. MIPT, MISIS, the Tomsk state university, the HSE, MEPhI, Saint Petersburg State National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics and the Novosibirsk national research university will receive 860.96 million rubles. The Kazan (Volga) federal university, MGMU of Sechenov, the Tomsk Polytechnic University, RUDN, the Tyumen state university, the St. Petersburg polytechnical university of Pyotr Velikov and Ural Federal University of Yeltsin in turn will receive 430.48 million rubles. Will allocate to the Baltic federal university of Kant, the Nizhny Novgorod state university of Lobachevsky, Far Eastern Federal University, the Samara national research university of Korolev, Siberian Federal University, the St. Petersburg state electrotechnical university "LETI" and the Southern Ural State University 122.99 million rubles.
