The net profit of Aeroflot in the III quarter grew by 14.2% — to 27.7 billion rubles — Rambler News Service


The net profit of the Aeroflot group for the III quarter 2018 was 27.7 billion rubles, having increased in annual terms by 14.2%, the company reports. Revenue for the reporting period was 200.5 billion rubles, the indicator increased in comparison with the III quarter 2017 by 18%. Following the results of 9 months the profit of group was 22.5 billion rubles, having reduced in annual terms by 17.2%, and revenue following the results of January-September, 2018 grew in a year by 15.2% up to 404.8 billion Aeroflot notes that it income from regular passenger traffic in 9 months grew by 15.8% to 410 billion rubles, from charter — for 34.2% to 22.8 billion rubles. Growth of proceeds from freight transportation for the reporting period grew by 13.6% to 11.3 billion rubles. Operating expenses of the company following the results of 9 months made 362.9 billion rubles, having increased in a year by 18.3%. Expenses on service of aircrafts and passengers increased by 7.4% to 74.7 billion rubles, by compensation — for 1.3 billion rubles to 60.5 billion rubles. Expenses on operational rent increased by 33.7% to 47.7 billion rubles, costs of service of vessels increased by 22% to 26.2 billion rubles. At the same time business expenses were reduced by 5.7% to 23.8 billion rubles, and the expenditure falling on depreciation and the customs duties — for 9.6% to 11.4 billion rubles. Expenses of Aeroflot on kerosene in January-September made 89.94 billion rubles that is 46.7% higher than similar expenses following the results of 9 months 2017. "Expenses on aviation fuel in 9 months 2018 increased by 46.7% in comparison with the same period of last year and made 131,965 million rubles. Growth of expenses is caused by increase in the average prices of aviation fuel in rubles for 36% in comparison with the same period of previous year against the background of dynamics of cost of the oil which accelerated the growth in the third quarter and also increase in volume of transportations and a raid of hours" — it is said in the statement. The Aeroflot group includes the airline "Aeroflot" of the same name and also airlines "Avrora", Russia and Pobeda low-cost airline.
