The net profit of the diamond-mining company "ALROSA" according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) following the results of the I half-year 2018 has grown by 19,1% — to 58,26 billion rubles in comparison with a similar indicator in 48,9 billion rubles the previous year, follows from materials of the company. The proceeds from sales to the company following the results of a half-year have increased for 7,5% and have made 165,6 billion rubles against 154,1 billion rubles the previous year. The gross profit of the company for the same period of the current year has made 94,5 billion rubles that is 20,7% higher than an indicator of last year. ALROSA is the world's largest producer of diamonds in carats. The company is engaged in geological exploration, production and sale of diamonds. ALROSA conducts extraction of diamonds in the territory of Yakutia and the Arkhangelsk region and also conducts geological exploration in Angola.
