The Russian accused of plunder of 60 million rubles was detained in Germany — Rambler News Service


The CEO of LLC Express Valery Markovkin was detained in the German Zeftenberg because of charge of plunder by more than 60 million rubles of shareholders. The press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia has reported about it. The staff of the IC RF across the Novgorod region has opened criminal case concerning Markovkin last year then the businessman was put on the international wanted list. "on July 17, 2018 from the Interpol information on detention and arrest of the defendant in the city of Zeftenberg of the Federal Republic of Germany has arrived. Now the issue of his extradition is resolved" — it is said in the statement of department. According to ICR, Markovkin for several years raised money of citizens for participation in shared-equity construction of a high-rise building in Veliky Novgorod to the address Shimskaya Street, 43. In total he managed to attract more than 60 million rubles then Markovkin has stopped construction of the facility.
