Transneft has postponed expansion of the South pipeline until 2023 — Rambler News Service


Transneft can begin realization of the third stage of construction of the South oil pipeline after 2023, the third stage of the South project – the Samara-Volgograd pipeline is told in the corporate magazine "Truboprovodny Transport Nefti" "– it is still postponed until 2023: his realization will depend on requirements of the market of oil products" — the company notes. As they say in the publication, in 2018 it is planned to transport on the products pipeline about 4,1 million tons of fuel. Same year construction of a railway drain platform on GPS "Tinguta" which connection will give about 2 million more tons of fuel will be complete. The South project is directed to creation of the pipeline system for export of the Russian light oil products from the Black Sea coast of Russia to the countries of Europe and the world and provides construction of the oil pipeline from Volgograd to Novorossiysk and also 10 pumping-over stations. The route of the oil pipeline will pass across Krasnodar Krai, the Volgograd and Rostov regions.
