The plant has received the certificate on 1 thousand cars" — it is said in the statement. Cars from the first party are equipped with the ZMZ engine with a working volume of 2,7 l which is capable to use both gasoline, and the liquefied gas. The power unit satisfies to environmental standards of Euro-6. The additional gas equipment Lovato is installed in Italy. The official representative of UAZ has explained RNS that later the company intends to arrange deliveries to Italy of the Patriot and Pro models. "For all history of export to Italy more than 13 thousand cars UAZ have been delivered … With the advent of the European certificate of conformity we hope for considerable expansion of sales in the countries of the West" — the export manager of the UAZ company Andrey Dorofeyev has told. His words are cited by the company. The enterprise notes that UAZ are used for transportation of tourists on volcanoes Vesuvius and Etna now. SUVs from Ulyanovsk are also used during mine-rescue works, geological investigation, delivery of water and food to the remote mountain settlements of Italy. The automobile works last year has increased deliveries to export in comparison with 2016 by 1,5 times, to 5,1 thousand pieces. The company plans to organize deliveries to 700 SUVs UAZ in a year to the countries of Central America, including Costa Rica. The enterprise has already agreed about deliveries of cars to partners in Bolivia, Haiti, Nicaragua, Mexico, Paraguay, Ecuador, Honduras. The company also conducts negotiations with distributors in Peru, Argentina and Chile.
